Kick your Habits: we will take care of you

We will take care of your bad habit and addiction. We offer ambulatory guidance; you will learn how to change in an environment in which you desire to maintain that change.

We know that you can change

If you reach us in time, harmful habits can gradually be changed into good habits. If you cannot do it alone, we will do it together.

We treat our clients as we would like to be treated

We will ensure a match between you and your practitioner. We want you to have a practitioner with whom you ‘click’. You will always have the same practitioner, from the intake to the after care.

We make sure you get moving in a way that suits you

You want to create space to look at your addiction and its cause from a distance, allowing you to deal with it. Allowing you to make room for other aspects of your life.

We will not leave your side

When you relapse into old habits, we can support you to get you back on track.

The sooner you intervene, the better

And the easier it will be to regain control. We will help you. Call us to schedule an appointment. We will see where things stand and together we will start working to exchange your bad habit for a good one.
We developed a treatment concept that is suitable for the modern day man or woman with a busy life, suffering from bad habits or addictions. We view an addiction as a regular process that has spun out of control. Something that used to work in your favor (fun, comfort, distraction, confidence) has now turned against you.

“A very thoughtful and efficient treatment that doesn’t fall back on soft babble or impersonal protocols.

Highly effective.”

You’re suffering from a bad habit or addiction, but that doesn’t make you an ‘addict’.

You are much more than that. And, naturally, you would like to be treated that way. We will take your problems seriously and we will include you in our assessments, to see where you would like to end up.

We will counsel you with personal meetings. As often as necessary. This usually begins with one or multiple meetings per week, but as things progress we will reduce the frequency of these meetings.

We always employ practitioners whom we would trust to treat ourselves.

Kick your habits and you will win more than you think.

More and more knowledge is available regarding the effects of improving your habits. Habits take root in your brain, in the so-called ‘lymbic system’, also referred to as ‘the emotional brain’, or the ‘reptile brain’. This part of your brain produces a substance called dopamine that makes you happy, but it also creates substances that play a role in ‘fight or flight reactions’ and presumably your resistance as well.

When you start working on your bad habits and addictions, it will affect all of the above: you will be more resistant to setbacks and stress, you will regain control over numerous aspects in your life, you will increasingly enjoy life, and your physical resistance will probably increase as well.

There is no reason to be ashamed, take action!

Bad habit or addiction?

Everyone gets lonely, insecure, scared, or frustrated every now and then. A natural tendency is to start looking for things that offer comfort, or things that help you forget about the things you’re scared of. A drink, cigarette, joint, snuff, going online or eating are things that dampen our feelings of sadness and nervousness. They can allow us to relax when we’re around people. If there’s a party, these substances can instantly lead to more fun.
But habits that we used to find enjoyable can start to control us, we become dependent. That which used to be a solution to a problem now becomes a problem on its own.
You lose control. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to ‘go without’. You’ve become dependent.
