Waiting time

Our waiting times are manageable!

Everyone knows it in the Netherlands: mental health services are under pressure, and long waiting lists are common. The good news is that, by focusing on efficiency and working with highly capable therapists, we’ve been able to keep our waiting times much shorter.

Note: After your registration and referral letter, we may contact you by phone if we have questions or to check whether we are the most suitable service for you.

Insurance

Waiting times are the same for all insurance providers. Unlike many other clinics, once your intake is approved, there is no further waiting—you can start your treatment immediately.

It’s hard to say exactly how long your wait will be. This also depends on the fact that our treatments are tailored to each individual.

Current waiting times for an intake (February 2026):
After a positive intake, treatment begins straight away.

  • Utrecht: 8–10 weeks
  • Amsterdam: 13–14 weeks
  • Groningen: 22–24 weeks

Note: If you are insured with CZ or VGZ, waiting times can extend to 3–6 months.

We believe it’s important to offer you something useful while you wait, so you can start working on it yourself. You can request our waiting list workbook through the office.
